Our emphasis has always been on the creative, thoughtful and analytical approach to solving the problems in nursing practice, to thereby develop cognitive, affective and psycho motor competencies among the students that will enable them to accommodate themselves in the socio-cultural changes of today, tomorrow and forever. In the dynamic society we live in, a graduate nurse is expected to function independently, and at the same time do justice in delivering health care to families, individuals and the like. As a graduate from the Tagore College of Nursing, she/he is trained to learn at every step in his/her life.

Hands-on skills in clinical training, prepare our budding nurses to meet and tackle all kinds of challenges in day-to-day life. Students are prepared intensively for maintaining professional standards and for providing quality health care to the needy.

We focus not only on the academic but on holistic, personal development by involving them in various co-curriculum activities and also believe in evidence-based practices by doing research in different fields and disseminating the results on several publication sites.
